Original Thierry Mugler Alien was released in 2005 over a decade after the release of Thierry Mugler Angel, the best-selling, award-winning gourmand perfume. The first Alien summer edition came out in 2008. Alien Eau Luminescente is a light and fresh alternative to the original Alien. Its juice features light florals with hints of amber, and comes in an orange bottle. New summer edition is Alien Sunessence featured in the bright yellow bottle. This one's all about citrus and florals. It's been receiving lots of love on Basenotes and MakeupAlley.
The bottle is faceted like a jewel and its amethyst color symbolizes thoughtfulness and peace of mind. The name, engraved on the glass, is reflected in reverse to form a sign as it would in a mirror.
