Men and Women love the smell of women’s French fragrances. It is no wonder that the French perfume industry worldwide makes around 11 billion dollars every year. It is also well known that women’s French fragrances have been around for an eternity. Tastes in women’s French perfumes are different for everyone. Some like a strong perfume and some like a subdued one. Despite this fact, the tastes for perfumes always seem to have a point where everybody’s tastes agree and complement. Vera Wang Rock Princess produced by Vera Wang

Rock Princess (2009), the new launch by Vera Wang is described as a dark Fruity Floral evocative of downtown East Village, except it's not the most original idea but a spinoff of the hit fragrance Vera Wang Princess (2006) which featured fruits, flowers, forbidden woods, musk and dark chocolate. The limited edition Rock Princess also features fruits and flowers on a sweet, woody-vanillic-musk base, but compared to the original Princess smells to my nose woodier and more powdery, more of a woody Floral Oriental scent with fruit notes rather than like a straight Fruity Floral.
It smells like a typical patchouli-based fruity scent: sweet and a little bit dusty due to the wood notes combined with a flowery heart. Rock Princess also has a rich floral heart, giving it a sort of '80s vibe.
The major difference between Princess and Rock Princess seems to be that Rock Princess is a bit perfumier, maybe a bit aldehydic with a creamy cupcake note imbedded somewhere, and lily-like heady florals intensifying towards the end.

L de Lolita Lempicka produced by Lolita Lempicka

Fashion houses are often named after their founding designer, but Josiane Pividal went about it differently. In 1983 Josiane and her husband Joseph, an interior designer, created their own label, "Lolita Lempicka", in homage to Nabokov;s novel and the the painter Tamara de Lempicka. As the fashion house took off, the couple found it simpler to change their names to Lolita and Joseph-Marie Lempicka. Lolita / Josiane were born in Bordeaux in 1954. She first learned how to sew from her mother a trouser maker. In the 1970's Lolita started redesigning second-hand clothes, managing to make them look new and original. She became famous for her exquisitely tailored suits, infusing classical Parisian styles with fresh femininity. The Lempicka Company rapidly expanded into the international marketplace. In the 1990's Lolita created award winning fragrances. She earned the prestigious Best Women's Fragrance by the Fragrance Foundation and the American FIFI award in 1998 for Lolita Lempicka.

It is classified as an oriental perfume, and should be worn in the evenings, or fall through spring but not in the summer. When wearing this fragrance, be prepared to be stopped for compliments as its sillage, or trail, is strong an beautiful.

Euphoria opens with sweet notes of pomegranate, persimmon, and lush green accord. These blend into fresh lotus blossom, champaca flower and exotic black orchid. The dry down is a very warm and sensual amber, black violet, cream accord and mahogany wood.

This is the perfect fragrance for sophisticated women who are sensual, confident, mysterious and edgy, but still on the playful side. When wearing Euphoria perfume, it is almost like spraying on a layer of confidence and happiness.

Chanel No. 5 produced by Chanel

Once the aldehydes subside, a summery blend of fresh flowers emerges with a pinch of something slightly spicy, like a sprig of dianthus. Its sillage is gentle. Chanel is famous for growing its own fields of jasmine in Grasse.
Chanel No. 5 is ladylike but personal and could go just about anywhere, any time of the day or night. Osmoz describes No. 5 as having top notes of aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, and neroli; a heart of jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, and orris; and a base of vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, and amber.

Versace, being known for high quality oils and perfumes, blends a high concentrate of perfume oils that allows the scent to last without rubbing off after application.

Bright Crystal comes in several different sizes and applications. The .3 oz. Eau de Toilette Rollerball is the smallest in the lineup and is great for travel. It is also the most affordable option, retailing for $20.00. For those with sprays on their mind, the 1 oz. Eau de Toilette Spray is the smallest spritzer, which carries a price tag of $48. For those who want fragrance in bulk, the 1.7 and 3 oz. sprays are also available costing between $60 and $90 depending on the store. Top off your collection with a 6 oz. Man are becoming more fashion conscious these days like woman.

Now-a-days, some fragrances are make which can uses by both men and women, like Burberry Sport, Jovan, David Beckham and so on.

Reasonable Perfume Price

At this time the working classes still rarely used anything more exotic than the very early scents or the new perfumes produced by cosmetic houses rather than fashion design house couturiers.

Some of the less costly perfumes had quite pleasing scents. Everyday prices meant that the ordinary person could afford to buy a perfume gift from ranges by Coty, Yardley, Max Factor and Revlon and not break the bank. Goya also produced scents in a price conscious range.

The Perfumes Industry Take off

Over the last forty years, the perfume industry has boomed. In 1993, there used to be about one new perfume launch every week. Now, there’s one every day, with each company trying to one-up their competition with expensive, innovative, and glamorous launches. Through the second half of the 20th century, there were many changes in the styles and fragrances of perfumes. It seems that they change in accordance with the dominant lifestyle of the day.
The picture in below , we can see the Grasse Perfume Industry on France.

For example, Orchid are usually not used directly from the plant itself but are instead synthetically created to match the fragrant compounds found in various orchids.

Sources of Perfumes

The art of making perfume is known as “Perfumery”.
Traditionally perfumes were made from the natural sources found in the local areas. It has been revealed from the old records that they have been using herbs and spices to make perfume. The flowers were not used by this time. ‘Avicenna’ a Persian doctor who was also a chemist is known as the father of modern day’s perfume. He started the process of extracting essential oils from the flowers.

Perfumes are made from the constituents taken from both natural as well as synthetic origin. Here in my next features, you will see the detailed information about the aromatic/natural sources and the synthetic sources of the perfumes.

Perfume containers have always been attractive

The Egyptians treated their perfumes with great respect, and believed that only the best containers were good enough to hold them. Every effort was made to produce especially beautiful containers.

Take a look at the bottles and containers that perfumes are sold in today, and you’ll see that this practice hasn’t changed for thousands of years. Today’s perfume bottles are as attractive as they always were. And now, manufacturers are getting very innovative with their bottle designs. Sometimes for attractive containers people attract to buy and use perfume. So this is the most important for the manufacturer to make beautiful perfume bottles. Look at the top of today’s perfume bottles, its alaways been attractive as old bottles.

Early Use of Perfumes

Today women have fragrance wardrobes of at least six different perfumes, rather than a single signature perfume, keeping one special perfume for occasion moments. People have used perfume, oils and unguents on their bodies for thousands of years in lesser or greater amounts dependent on fashion whims. The early Egyptians used perfumed balms as part of religious ceremonies and later as part of pre love making preparations. Myrrh and Frankincense were exuded gums from trees used to scent the atmosphere in rituals. Other plants such as rose and peppermint were steeped in oils until a perfumed unguent formed. The unguent was then rubbed into the skin.
